Your Profile

We are now looking for a preschool teacher for our preschool at Innovitaskolan Luleå. This spring, we have experienced an increased demand for applications, which is why we want to expand with more educators in the organization. The preschool consists of three departments with children aged 1-2 years, 3-4 years, and a 5-year-old department. Here, you will find a warm and family-like environment where safety, joy, and curiosity form the basis for learning. We are looking for someone who is a strong and secure leader with the ability to create structure, calmness, and clear boundaries for both children and colleagues. You have a natural ability to capture children's curiosity and create learning situations that inspire discovery, interaction, and creativity.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will plan and lead the educational work together with your colleagues. You will contribute to developing teaching in accordance with the curriculum's goals and create a stimulating environment where each child has the opportunity to grow based on their conditions. We believe that you are an engaged, clear, and present educator who thrives in close collaboration with colleagues and guardians. You are positive, responsible, and have a genuine interest in children's development and learning. Formal Requirements:

• Certification as a preschool teacher.
• Good knowledge of the Preschool Curriculum (Lpfö 18) and the ability to implement it in daily work.
• Experience in pedagogical documentation and systematic quality work.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Personal Qualities:

• Secure, clear, and structured leader with the ability to create order and calmness.
• Engaged and present in the child group, with the ability to capture and build on children's curiosity.
• Collaborative and unpretentious – you see the value in working together for the best of the children.
• Responsible and proactive, with a desire to contribute to the development of the entire preschool.
• Positive and reflective in your working method, focusing on solutions and learning.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in a smaller, family-like preschool where collaboration between departments is a natural part of everyday life.
• Experience working with children in age-segregated groups (1-2, 3-4, and 5 years).
• Competence in language development approaches, nature and outdoor pedagogy, or aesthetic learning processes.
• Experience working with children in need of extra support or special adaptations.

The position is a full-time (100%) temporary position from January to June 18. It is a holiday position with a start date according to agreement.
